Delicate, fragile, too thin nails

- Phase 1: Apply a layer of Nylon Fibres formula to clean, oil free nails and let it dry.
- Phase 2: Apply a layer of Sealer to even out the surface. Add a second coat if the nail is very uneven.
- Apply Barrier Base Coat to clean nails and let it dry before polish or a top coat.
- Apply your colour in two thin coats.
- Gently massage NAILACTAN into the base of each nail using small circular motions, until absorbed.
- Saturate a cotton pad with remover, press it onto the nail and hold until the polish softens. Then wipe away.
- Repeat as needed for darker shades or glitter polish. Acetone-free removers may take longer to dissolve polish.
- Nailactan can reach the nail root through polish. For optimal care, apply it once a week to clean, bare nails.
- Nail Shield does not harden the nail, but builds a protective barrier over it.
- Barrier Base Coat is intended to be worn beneath nail polish or a top coat. Do not wear it alone.
- Allow four to six weeks to see improvement. Fingernails take around six months to grow out completely, so more severely damaged nails may take longer to show a full result.
For very thin, fragile nails, MAVALA recommends prioritising protection and nourishment before using a hardener. Scientifique K+ may be used as a complementary product, rather than as an essential step in the routine.
Nailactan 15ml
A nourishing cream for your nails. This rich cream is composed of essential amino acids, lipids and kerato-balancing vitamins. It moisturizes, nourishes the nail, improves its elasticity and flexibility, thus, gives it more resistance.
Nail shield (2 x 10ml)
Forms a strong screen to protects and increase the nails resistance where the nail plate has been weakened. This is a two phase treatment. Phase 1: Nylon Fibres form a resistant trellis that still allows the nails to breathe. Phase 2: Sealer is applied over the trellis to fill in any irregularities.
Barrier base coat 10ml
It forms a protective screen between the nail plate and nail polish, preventing dehydrations, splitting and brittleness. Its aqueous formula provides moisturizing and restructuring key ingredients from the Proflex complex based on provitamin B5, silk amino acids and an essential component of keratin.
Extra mild nail polish remover (acetone-free)
This acetone free formulated nail polish remover contains the ideal blending of softer solvents and esters that make it extra gentle. It does not dry out nails or skin. Also available in pads – ideal for travel.
